Rutherford Day was held at Memorial Field. It was a great afternoon for the community. The Rutherford Arts Council hosted a community painting project, where residents of all ages were invited to paint together on several canvases. Afterwards, Sara Orlowicz of the Elliott Free Little Art Gallery contributed to the paintings to help unify them. The murals were displayed for several months at Rutherford Coffee Co. They are currently at the next spot on their tour at the Rutherford Public Library.
